ReplyDeleteWow, can't believe it's not even Halloween and we have 6 inches of snow. Crazy. I can't recall ever having snow this early. I made sure to go food shopping before the roads got too icy because it's rain and snow and then the temp drops and then we have road problems. Lost power a few times. Hope your weekend in wonderful warm Hawaii is a great one. :)

Weather over here is kind of funny at the moment ,the one minute it is 33 degrees outside and the next thrunderstorms and really strong winds with hail the size of golfballs !

I worked yesterday and it was so cute to see all the little ones (and most of their fathers)in costumes....there were over 1,000 kids trick or treating yesterday in downtown Glen Ellyn, IL!!! Today I'm relaxing, watching football and reading.

Thanks for the book. We got about 10 inches of snow and it looks like the tree in my back yard has big issues. Bummer. It is a beautiful tree.

ReplyDeleteWe got a couple inches of snow and cold weather and some icy roads and lots of fog. I can only remember having snow on Halloween once in the last 60 years. We went to our Legion last night for a nice Halloween party and today is Steeler Sunday.

Congrats to this week's winners! As for me, we've had really nice weather this weekend in So. Cal. Though, I'm spending a lot of the weekend indoors because I have midterms next week that I'm studying for. Have a great weekend everyone!

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about everyone's weather woes already. It's about 60 and sunny here and a nice break from the heat we've had for so long (Texas). With the crazy weather we've all had this year, I've been curious about what winter will bring.
Somewhat quiet weekend. Grocery shopping yesterday, football today.

ReplyDeleteIn southern Ontario today the weather is sunny and about 40 degrees. Very nice fall weather and at least no snow is expected yet.
Heavy frost each morning, however, clear skies at night with the stars in all their brillance.
Just getting over the cold/flu, had it for almost 3 weeks. Must get out and do some shopping.

ReplyDeleteIn Nebraska the weather has been beautiful. A little chilly in the mornings but 60's and sunny during the day. Gonna keep my fingers crossed as the weather here changes on a dime and snows anytime after the end of September it seems.
The trees are beautiful as they are all fall colors now and the ground is crunchy with leaves. My dogs are having a blast on their walks as they feel that since it is cooler they should go for longer and they love playing in the leaves.
This weekend is free of any obligations and I've enjoyed relaxing, reading and surfing my favorite sites :)

Had to work on Sat. but dressed up my girls for a costume party today! Very fun! One was a rag doll and the other was bee! Congrats to the winners

My weekend was fantabulous! Well, it was my birthday. Actually, the whole week was great. It was DH's annual Deer Hunting Week, so I had the week to myself. It happens every year during my birthday, and I love it! I get the week to myself. *snoopy dance* But then DH came home to ensure he spoiled me on The Day.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the east coast in SC. Our weather is finally turning colder, but hey, I just picked two more squash, this past week, from seeds the Grands had planted in August. The frost got to the plants just this past weekend too.

Here it's chilly but no snow at all. I still like to keep warm with a romance novel and some cocoa. It's November now so I think it's "allowed" to start drinking christmassy drinks :D
