Today I spotlight debut author Samantha Grace as she takes us to Regency England with MISS HILLARY SCHOOLS A SCOUNDREL:
Love ‘em-and- leave ‘em Lord Andrew Forest lives for pleasure and offers no apologies. But he receives a dose of his own medicine when his family’s innocent houseguest beds him then disappears without a by your leave. Rejected by the most captivating woman in England, Drew is determined to intercept Lana Hillary before she reaches London and convince her to marry him. Then he’ll teach the little vixen a thing or two about how to love a man.

Grace delivers a humorous story of falling in love while navigating (or circumventing) the marriage mart, house parties, family interference, and Mother Nature. Perhaps Grace draws from her own experience:

ReplyDeleteI plan on sitting back and relaxing. Ive received a ton of new books that im dying to jump in and read. ;) So thats what im doing. ;) Thanks! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteKim -
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing us to Samantha! I love "discovering" debut authors and am thrilled that not only does Samyantha have Miss Hillary School's a Scoundrels available now but also that she will also have Llady Amanda's Mess and a Half coming out to start off our summer!
My guilty pleasure this week-end is going to be taking some time to read! I've found that after a hectic weeks at work I need a chance to sit back and relax in front of the fireplace with a great historical romance and have my own special "Calgon" moment to be taken away to another time and place!
My pleasure this weekend is reading.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure this weekend is going to the Renaissance Festival. We went a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. I just love looking at all the people who dress up in such amazing and very beautiful costumes. I can almost imagine that I'm back living in Medieval times. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for this opportunity Kim.
My husband and I are going out for a nice dinner tomorrow. It's a bonus because we bought dinner certificates for others at Christmas and we were given $20 and a bottle of wine :)

ReplyDeleteI will enjoy my books and movie , and sleep in after 2 whole tiring weeks:), Aretha zhen, aretha_zhen(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI plan to go skiing this weekend.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, it's not a long weekend for me. We don't get a holiday for President's Day. My hubby and I will probably do a belated Valentine's Day dinner and shop a couple of President's Day sales.
ReplyDeleteToday was my birthday and my family surprised me by traveling from out of state to be here today and they are staying all weekend. So I'm having a great weekend.
ReplyDeletesounds like an interesting book, thanks for the chance to get a copy. Alas, I still have to work on Monday (not a holiday for my office) but I'll still get to enjoy a little relaxing over the wknd w/ a good book & fit in some shopping for a baby shower :)
ReplyDeleteNo real guilty pleasure plans other than trying to sleep in tomorrow and taking my daughter out to lunch Sunday for her birthday.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure will be sleeping in. Other than that, I've got plenty of studying to do. And unlike most schools I do have school on Monday. But I finish in April so I'm almost done. Enjoy the hike with your family Kim!
ReplyDeleteI'll probably be going shopping.
ReplyDeleteMy greatest pleasure this week end will be to have a weed free garden. The doing will not be much fun, but I will appreciate the result.
ReplyDeleteLet's hear it for scoundrels! I love a good reformed one.
ReplyDeleteI love good scoundrels. Preferably one reformed by the right woman!
ReplyDeleteMy weekend pleasures are to sleep in and to read a good book.
ReplyDeleteNo long weekend for me, but I do have a night out planned with some friends and I'll also be enjoying a couple of hockey games on tv that my home team will play this weekend. :)
