Forever's Western Blog Tour (part 1): RC Ryan's QUINN

Last week, my children's Boy Scout Troop participated in a scavenger hunt on the Hilo Heritage Tour.   They had to find "saloon" on the sidewalk and determine what would be tied to a metal ring near it.   After much deliberation, the Scouts agreed that Paniolo (cowboys) tied their lio (horses) to enjoy the saloon.  Even in the Pacific, cowboys are true blue American heroes.

Today we celebrate traditional cowboys from Forever Romance .... RC Ryan gives us QUINN:

A Wyoming Sky Novel ...

The Truth Can Be an Irresistible Temptation . . .

As a young boy, Quinn Conway was shattered by his mother's mysterious disappearance. Today, as the oldest of the Conway brothers, his only concern is protecting his family and their ranch. One look at beautiful, strong-willed Cheyenne O'Brien tells him she's also no stranger to tragedy. A series of increasingly dangerous "accidents" are plaguing her and her land, and Quinn can't stand idly by while a woman is in danger. Fiercely independent, Cheyenne isn't one to lean on others, yet she can't deny her attraction to the rugged rancher offering help. Soon, the passion building between them proves as wild and untamed as the land she loves-and just as impossible to resist. But a relentless enemy is about to make one final devastating move. To survive, Quinn and Cheyenne must put their cherished freedom-and their hearts-at risk . . .

  2. Great post, Kim! Got my pre-order of "Quinn" by R.C. Ryan few weeks ago, but I hadn't chance to read it yet. Regarding cowboys... Although Chuck Norris isn't my favorite cowboy, I grew up watching "Walker, Texas Ranger" & was a big fan of this TV series.

  5. Favorite cowboy would have to be Clint Eastwood or newer version would be the Raines brothers from Kat Martin's newest series. Love cowboys. Super sexy in their blue jeans, cowboy boots, and those sexy cowboy hats. A couple of other good cowboys(country signers) are Jake Owen, Chris Young, Blake Shelton, and Alan Jackson.
These two books sounds awesome and would love to win and read.

  6. Hi all! Thanks for stopping by to chat. When I think of screen cowboys I always think of Redford as the Sundance Kid, which is probably why I put the outlaw-school marm scene in Catch Me a Cowboy. But who doesn't love Eastwood, John Wayne, and Woody? Never watched Walker, Texas Ranger, but always thought Chuck was cute. Thanks for the great post, Kim! I'll be checking back later.
