I have a special book from Christie Kelley's backlist, SCANDAL OF THE SEASON:
A Daring Charade. . .
For ten years, Anthony Westfield, Viscount Somerton, hasn't been able to forget the woman with whom he spent one scandalous night. When their paths cross again, he's shocked to discover Victoria Seaton is an accomplished pickpocket. But Somerton leads a double life of his own. Working on an undercover assignment, he makes Victoria a proposition: pretend to be his mistress or risk ruin. Yet soon he's tempted to turn their charade into reality--and surrender to an explosive passion. . .
A Holiday To Remember. . .
Victoria can't believe the man who almost destroyed her life a decade ago is now threatening to unravel her secrets. But posing as his mistress at a holiday country party is a game she can play well. For just one look into Somerton's eyes still weakens her with lust. And with Christmas fast approaching, every kiss they share under the mistletoe only makes Victoria fall more deeply in love.

Really like the fall since it's neither too hot or too cold... It's just right. I hate winter..
ReplyDeleteI like the Fall when the weather starts to cool and the leaves are such beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteI live in the tropics so don't get to experience the 4 seasons. I'm like you & like them all! But maybe not winter cos I don't handle cold well at all.
ReplyDeleteI tend to love the Spring...I love seeing all of the little plants peeking their heads above ground.
ReplyDeleteI love them all too! I just hope I'll get to experience them since we only have 2 seasons in our country. :(
ReplyDeleteMy country only has 2 seasons -- but I love the idea of Fall.
ReplyDeleteI'm very excited for Christie Kelley's new book!
Fall is my favorite, with its golden leaves and chestnuts. Baking pumpkin pie and making applesauce. Walking in the soft rain in a warm coat and knitted scarf. Reading inside and having the wind brush branches against your window. Sipping cinnamon tea and wearing socks again :D
ReplyDeleteSpring and Fall for me. The only reason that I don't sleep through winter is because of christmas and my daughter's bday! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite season is Fall. I love the cooler temps, the breeze, the changing colors of the leaves, Thanksgiving, and pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun post and giveaway! Since I live in the midwest, our winters and summers can be extreme. So I enjoy spring and fall b/c there are nice, moderate temperatures :)
ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite season. I love the cool comfortable weather and the fall foliage.
ReplyDeleteAutumn (Fall) here in Florida, is my favorite time of year. I love it because the weather is so much cooler, and the humidity is way down.
ReplyDeleteScandal of the Season, sounds really good, and I'd love to read it.
My favorite season is spring, which typically begins in late January here in Houston!
ReplyDeleteHere in South Florida the seasons aren't as drastic as they are in other places in the US. However, I will pick spring as the weather is very tropical at that time. It rains almost daily, but the sun shines right through them and all is dry again very quickly. Cool breezes and everything is in bloom.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Spring because it's not too cold or hot. It's perfect for heading outdoors and not worrying about scorching heat and the humidity.
ReplyDeleteI have come to the conclusion I love spring. I love flower blossoms that have all winter long to reappear. Fall would be a close second with the changing of the leaves. However, I don't like snow so winter is out unless its in California.
ReplyDeleteI love Spring and Fall. I love Spring because it is warmer outside and no snow, and the plants and trees start blooming. I love Fall because it is cooler than Summer (no ac needed - yay!), the leaves change color and fall off, and there is Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI love different things about all the seasons but prefer the more moderate temperatures of spring and fall. I guess if I have to choose, I'd go with fall, because it tends to be less stormy, not counting hurricanes, of course!
ReplyDeleteI have to go with spring. I love seeing all the green after shoveling all that snow.
ReplyDeleteI love the winter. I live in California and we don't get snow where I am, but it is a short ride away if I want it. I also love an excuse to cuddle up with my hubby on a cold night in front of a fire.
ReplyDeleteFall and winter are my two favorite seasons, I love chilly weathers.
ReplyDeleteI like spring when everything comes back to life and color returns
ReplyDeleteFall and Spring are equally my favorite seasons. Spring because everything is renewing and fresh and Fall because everything is crisp and I love the smell of the forest as I'm hiking in the mountains enjoying the colors.
ReplyDeleteI like Fall when the leaves change colors.
ReplyDeleteI like Spring, it entertains me to see all of the new growth and it isn't triple digit hot or freezing.
ReplyDeleteI do love Autumn. It is very welcome after the heat of Summer. Beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to coax very hard to get me here, Kim. Just an email will do it. I love this blog but hardly get here because of my full time job. Thanks so much for giving away a copy of Scandal of the Season. That was my favorite book to write.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Fall. The cooler temperatures and beautiful leaves refresh my spirits.
My favorite season is fall because it finally starts to cool off here in Florida and then there's Halloween and pumpkin everything.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite season is spring :)
ReplyDeleteI love the fall. My favorite season!
ReplyDeleteI love the spring time! :)
