Aloha to Jill Shalvis and INSTANT TEMPTATION

Instant Temptation

The Hawaiian word of the day is

holua

It is the ancient royal sport of sledding.   Holua is also the name of the sled.  Allen and Ton from Auction Hunters found a replica holua in a storage auction when they visited Hawaii.   Allen, of course, had to try it out!

There is no doubt the Wilder Brothers would also try the holua.  The Wilder Brothers - Cam, Stone, and TJ - are the heroes in Jill Shalvis' "Instant" series.  Book 1 is Cam's story in INSTANT ATTRACTION.  Book 2 is Stone's story in INSTANT GRATIFICATION - I recently reviewed and featured it at this link.  Book 3 is TJ's story in INSTANT TEMPTATION.  I posted my review on Amazon at this link and Goodreads at this link:

T.J. Wilder is the perfect package of breathtaking adventure and raw sex appeal. Even better, he's about to reconnect with the one woman he's never been able to forget...

Get Your Pulse Racing

To Harley, the landscape around Wishful, California, is exhilarating, untamed, and more than a little dangerous. The same could be said for T.J. Wilder, who's invited himself along on her trek to study a rare coyote. Harley's career is riding on this trip, and she doesn't need a stubborn, incredibly sexy distraction. But T.J. is a professional guide who knows when to stay back and when to provide invaluable expertise-just like he's done since they were in high school. And Harley, as usual, is torn between throttling him and giving in to the raw attraction that's been smoldering all these years.

T.J. knows how proud and capable Harley is, but he's damned sure not letting her put herself at risk when there are illegal hunters in the area. She needs him, with the same soul-stirring urgency that he's always craved her. And here, in this beautiful place days from civilization, he'll finally have a chance to prove it-over and over again...

The bonus is Jill Shalvis hails from the area featured in the series.  I suspect she's tried a few of the outdoor adventures that the Wilder do so easily!  I am giving away a print copy of INSTANT TEMPTATION.  To enter the giveaway,

1.  Leave a comment about high school - do you keep in touch with any friends?   I have one friend who I see when I visit my hometown in Florida.   I try to send her lots of Hawaiian goodies to share my paradise!

2.  Comments are open through Saturday, January 19, 10 pm in Hawaii.

3.  I'll post the winner on Sunday, January 20.

Mahalo,

Kim in Hawaii

  4. Besides all the ones I've connected with on Facebook, I've always kept in contact 3 of my friends. In fact once a month since high school we get together and play pinochle.

  5. Not really. I was happy to leave high school behind and not look back. I live far enough away that I don't see anyone.

I haven't read any of Jill's books yet, but am seeing her alot on the blogs. I think I need to change that.

  10. Thanks for the great post and congrats to Jill on the new/re-release :)

I have 2 friends that I see pretty regularly. The funny thing is, we didn't really start becoming friends until the summer after graduation.

  12. I still keep in contact with a couple of my friends, that I've known since I was 5 years old. Unfortunately, they both live in England. I do have other friends in England, that I keep in touch with.

I also have a very dear friend who I've known since I was 14 from school. Again, she lives far away too in Alabama. I've seen her a few times over the years.

  17. I do try to keep up with my childhood friends. It helps that most of us are still in the same area and that with Facebook it helps keep us informed with what's going on with each other's lives.

  25. Holua, I can honestly say I have never tried to go sledding without snow. Since I love winter acticities (winter for me) I would try this in a heart beat! But I would wear a helmet too.
A perfect activity for Shalvis's boys!

Interesting to read the comments about old friends. My husband and I are actually going to Puerto Rico in a couple weeks with three other couples, friends from high school.
