At the King's request, chieftain Alasdair MacDonald has sworn to preserve the peace in the Glen of Many Legends. Though he's handsome and fearless, his warrior's heart belongs only to his beloved land-until the fair sister of his oldest enemy shatters his defenses, branding his skin with a single touch, and sealing his fate with one stolen kiss . . .
Lady Marjory Mackintosh will do anything to unite the warring clans, even seduce Alasdair MacDonald. She has loved the rugged Highlander since she first saw him and now, as temptation leads to surrender, Marjory dares to possess him, body and soul. But a dangerous new menace enters the Glen, and he will stop at nothing to strip Alasdair of his honor-and the only woman who can claim his heart.

Hi Sue Ellen,
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a great tour. I should have already read this but unfortunately I got smacked with the Flu (that's what it felt like) :)
I'm looking forward to reading about Alasdair and Marjory. Thans for the post.

Hi Carol! Thanks so much looking in. I appreciate it. Didn't Kim do a great job with the features? (she always does)
DeleteSorry you've been feeling bad. Hope you'll enjoy the book. Get well soon!
sorry, forgot to comment on the legend. I would say Atlantis would be one of my favorites along with Lady Godiva.
ReplyDeleteCarol L.
I love Atlantis, too. :)
DeleteThe Irish have some beautiful legends. I love their fairy trees. Instead of cutting one down, they built the road around it.
ReplyDeleteHi Debby! Thanks so much for stopping by. The Irish are a wonderful choice. Well done. :)
DeletePlease don't enter me as I have this book already but I wanted to pop in and say hello to Sue-Ellen on her exciting tour!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite legend is BigFoot. I grew up in Northern Calif and when I was a kid we always heard stories and there was one town with a BigFoot statue that we took our pic with. My grandparents lived in Hayfork in Trinity County and my grannie bought me a t-shirt that said welcome to Hayfork in the heart of BigFoot Country.
We used to scare ourselves silly telling Bigfoot stories.
Hi Z! Thanks so much for looking in here. And your well wishes. It's going to be a great tour. GCP couldn't have paired me with a better partner. :)
DeleteBigfoot is a great choice! He fascinates me, too. Here in Florida we call him the Skunk Ape.
Legends fascinate me. I cant think of a favorite. But I love hearing them. Mysterious, fun, lovely, scary......all kinds.

Hi Lisa! Thanks for stopping by. I love legends, too. That's why I set my Highland Warriors trilogy in the Glen of Many Legends. ;)
DeleteGood luck in the drawing!
Yay!!! Sue-Ellen's tour has begun!
ReplyDeleteA favorite legend of mine has always been of the Cù-Sìth, the enormous wolf/dog creature that walks with death. Gives me the chills to think of, but at the same time can't stop my imagination from running wild with possibilities of the real Cù-Sìth and its capabilities.
Yep, Lexi, here we are! ;) Thanks so much for joining me. You always make me smile.
DeleteExcellent choice with the Cù-Sìth. Fantastic and definitely shiver-worthy. Love it!
Thanks again for looking in here.
Hi Kim ~ Thank you so much for doing such gorgeous features for us. Both look great. It's wonderful to be here again. Hope you're well. Two friends were out there not long ago and I thought of you whenever they emailed details about their trip. They had such a grand time. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
Oh, so looking forward to this story. As to lengends, I am fascinated by all of them. When reading the ones already mentioned, I kept thinking - oh, yes, that one, no, that one etc. etc. lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for looking in here, Catslady! I love legends, too. They always fascinate, don't they?
DeleteI love legends of all kinds. Two of my favorites are the Loch Ness monster, Atlantis, and Bigfoot.
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Cathy! And you named three of the best! :)
DeleteThanks so much for looking in today.
I've always been fond of the Robin Hood legend.
ReplyDeleteExcellent choice, LSUReader. :)
DeleteFavorite legend...It's not a legend but a fairy tale--Cinderella. The though of a poor girl being gifted by a surprise Fairy Godmother and getting to be dressed up for a fancy ball. Then to meet and dance with a handsome prince...WOW. --Then again I've always be fascinated with the "Pot of Gold" at the end of the rainbow and a cute green leprechaun :-)

Super choices, Glittergirl, You're so right about Cinderella. Everyone loves a good 'underdog' story. I sure do.
DeleteThanks so much for looking in here. Good luck!
Congrats to Margaret and Sue Ellen on the their new releases. I've always been fascinated by the legends of the headless horseman and the jersey devil.

ReplyDeleteHi Marilyn! It's lovely to see you in here! Didn't Diana do a lovely feature for our tour today? I'm with you - I love all legends and always enjoy learning more about them.
ReplyDeleteLove you bunches! (((HUGS)))
Kim, Thanks so much for hosting the tour today. You did a beautiful feature. It was wonderful to be here again. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteWaving at Sue-Ellen! I am in love with this series and now have right under 100 pages left in Seduction of a Highland Warrior. I only set it down this evening after work to follow the tour and tell everyone who hasn't yet read this to make sure and do so. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. (((HUGS))) to you, Sue-Ellen! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to pick one that's close to home and say the legend surrounding The Brown Mountain Lights here in NC. I've driven up many times and have yet to see them but my Dad saw them when he was a teenager and have friends who have seen them. There are several legends about them and I'll leave a link for those interested. I have to say though that the video they show are in the Linville Gorge at night and not of Brown Mountain which is on the other side of the gorge. There is a link for Legends at the top of the page that goes into details about the different legends surrounding the lights.
